Why I Created This Portal
As a child of genocide survivors and refugees, descendants of Kru Khmer (traditional Khmer medicine healers), and a Khmer somatic practitioner on a path of remembering and returning to the healing ways of traditional Khmer medicine, animism, and Theravāda Buddhism; I know the pain of chronic disconnection and the joy of remembering. This space is born from that remembering.
With the support and love from my ancestors and guides, I am creating this space as an act of collective care, cultural healing and homecoming. A place for returning for those of us who were told our existence was too much or not enough.
